Governor Jay Nixon Appoints Randall as Chairman of Clay County Election Board

Governor Jay Nixon has appointed former Commissioner and Secretary of the Clay County Election Board, Gerald Randall, to another four year term and as Chairman of the Board. Randall had previously served as Commissioner under Governor Bob Holden and was appointed Secretary by Governor Matt Blunt until his term expired in 2008. The Board and staff welcome Mr. Randall back and look forward to working with him for another four years to continue to ensure fair and impartial elections in Clay County.

Anyone interested in becoming an Election Day poll worker, should simply sign up on the Secretary of State's website and their information will be forwarded to their local county clerk or election board. The Secretary of State's office is also teaming up with businesses, universities, colleges and civic organizations across the state to encourage Missourians to serve as Election Day poll workers.
